Tour de France Route Revealed

This is the route of the Tour de France 2018 which has been announced today. Thsi route favours neither Froome nor Bardet. It has a long team time trial and indivisual time trial. This route could favour Dumpoulin who in many peoples' opinion is favourite for next years' tour over reigning chamion Froome. Dumoulin has the same tactic as Froome but specialises more in time trials, the area of Froome's dominance. 
      There are 3 big mountain stages and the organisers have decided to repeat the famous Bagneres de Luchon stage.

Stage 1, July 7: Noirmoutier-en-l’Ile – Fontenay-le-Comte, 189km
Stage 2, July 8: Mouilleron-Saint-Germain – La Roche-sur-Yon, 183km
Stage 3, July 9: Cholet – Cholet (TTT), 35km
Stage 4, July 10: La Baule – Sarzeau, 192km
Stage 5, July 11: Lorient – Quimper, 203km
Stage 6, July 12: Brest – Mûr de Bretagne Guerlédan, 181km
Stage 7, July 13: Fougères – Chartres, 231km
Stage 8, July 14: Dreux – Amiens Métropole, 181km
Stage 9, July 15: Arras Citadelle – Roubaix, 154km
Rest day, July 16: Annecy
Stage 10, July 17: Annecy – Le Grand Bornand, 159km
Stage 11, July 18: Albertville – La Rosière, 108km
Stage 12, July 19: Bourg-Saint-Maurice Les Arcs – Alpe d’Huez, 175km
Stage 13, July 20: Bourg d’Oisans – Valence, 169km
Stage 14, July 21: Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux – Mende, 187km

STAGE 4 Giro d'Italia

Today we saw the 4th stage of the Giro d'Italia. Today we saw the race move to Sicily, an island at the south of Italy. The stage was the next true challenge after the first short, technical, time trial. Starting the stage Rohan Dennis was in pink with a one second advantage on Tom Dumoulin, winner of stage 1. The stage started with a breakaway of 5 riders, consisting of Jacopo Mosca (Willier-Triestina), Quentin Jauregui (AG2R-La Mondiale), Maxim Belkov (Katusha-Alpecin),  Enrico Barbin (Barbiani), Marco Frapporti (Androni-Giacotolli). BMC controlled the race for the first 60 km, while the mountain jersey, Enrico Barbin took mountain points over the small categorised climbs along the way.
