Miquel Ángel López plans on winning 3 grand tours

The young Colombian has always liked these races and would like to win them one day. Next year he will ride the Vuelta, it will be his first grand tour. This year he has raced with the professional peloton various times and kept up with ease. In the Tour of Poland last year he was outstanding finishing top 10 in the hard mountain stage which was won buy the Frenche hero Thibaut Pinot.

Tom Boonen's hearing permanently damaged

Tom Boonen severly crashed in the Abu Dhabi and, at first, it was suspected that he would miss the next year's Spring classics. Doctors estimated that it would take him 6 months to recover. But Boonen recieved some good news, he would recover in only 2 months and some bad news his hearing was permanently damaged.

ASO pulls its competitions out of the world tour classification.

ASO, the company that owns the Tour de France want to pull all their competitions out of the World Tour classification and put them into the category below: .HC. They will do this in 2017. They will do this because they want to make the Tour have less people in it, they will be able to limit the teams and not let all the world tour teams in to the French competition.

Nibali to stay at Astana.

Nibali's contract at Astana finishes in 2016 but Vinokourov is sure he will stay for the 2017/18 seasons. NIbali is a special rider, one of the two current riders to have won a 3 grand tours. The threat to the team leadership is Fabio Aru, who will ride the Tour de France next year.
